The Who
Shay and Blue is a range of vegan, cruelty-free and interestingly a gender-neutral range of perfumes. The founder Dom de Vetta has spend the majority of his 20 year career working with brands like Chanel and Jo Malone. if you care about the products you use and how they are produced, you should give it a shot, since the brand goes to great lengths to ensure that all their perfumes are sustainable, ethical and clean.
The Problem
The client wanted to migrate from Magento 2.0 to Shopify Plus. They felt that customisation or execution of ideas on Magento took a fair amount of time and was a costly affair. Paul Lumley had used Shopify Plus before and knew that migrating to Plus would give him a lot of flexibility on many fronts
The Solution
We migrated the website to Shopify Plus for the client. One unique implementation that we did for the client was their 'create-your-own' sample set. A product sampler is crucial for perfumes since it gives the buyer an opportunity to test what fragrance works best on their skin. We used scripts to create this sampler set that auto-applies a discount and takes the user to checkout. Another implementation around the discovery bundle involved showing specific content to specific traffic only (by URL)
